The staff at Lantern Bay are excellent. First, we made an mistake and arrived one day earlier then what we booked. They calmly sorted out the confusion and got our cottage ready for us. Luckily, the cottage was also ready for us. Second, we left something behind at the cottage after check out. We called the staff who helped us sorted it out too.

Overall, the cottage resort is very family friendly. My kids enjoyed for the warm pool every day we stayed. I enjoyed the lake very much, and I made use of their paddleboard and kayaks. The resort organizes daily event for the community, and I had my first time doing yoga on the dock with an amazing view.

The whole family voted to go back to Lantern Bay next summer.

Had a great time there playing in the river with the grandchildren and also in the pools. Enjoyed ice cream at the main Welcome Centre and also a great paddle ride. Great place to stay.

The resort is beautiful, the people are amazing and the amenities to keep everyone entertained were endless. Fishing the lake was great the kids were catching (small) fish every 5 minutes. The restaurant was fantastic and very accommodating (wanted to take food to go so the chef let us borrow the platters).

My hopes are to maybe get a seasonal site there in the near future. Thank you Golden Beach Resort for a BEAUTIFUL week we hope to return soon.

It’s a nice and calm place, if you need to be out of town I recommend Bonnie Lake Resort where you enjoy swimming, kayak and several other activities, the community is great, the staff of welcome center are amazing people. The only thing is you need to take your food and beverages with you.

Though my friends and I had a short stay, the staff were SO amazing. They were BEYOND accommodating, friendly and helpful. They let us check in early so us girls had extra time to get ready for a wedding we were going to, when the cab company of Perth was giving us a hard time Jackie was a true saviour and gave us a ride (saving us from being late to our event) and refused to take money for this, and gave us a connection to get back safely. The staff are professional, kind and genuinely go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole experience felt personal and warm. We felt truly taken care of, not just like another booking. I can’t recommend this place enough! If you’re ever in Perth, this is the spot to stay. Thank you again to Jackie and the entire team for making our trip so memorable!

We have been going to Golden Beach for more than 10 years. In fact, we liked it so much that we became seasonal owners. They recently added a dog park and expanded the beach. They also have a great restaurant and general store on site. This is our summer happy place.

The grounds are well maintained. With new management, the resort and cottaging life are even better! And the rental team does an outstanding job of ensuring you have a wonderful stay. The Welcome Center boast Kawartha Dairy ice cream and an amazing staff available to answer any questions! We enjoyed the Pontoon boat ride on the Trent Severn waterway with breathtaking views! This resort is a must experience destination!

Great place to stay with family who loves nature and quite! Amazing lake views and peaceful trails. The resort house was clean and well prepared for our 3 days stay. Within service we’d been provided with free pack of woods for outdoor fireplace. There were children activities in the morning. Definitely recommend for all!

This is a wonderful resort in an ideal location in Muskoka. Right between Gravenhurst and Orillia, the rest offers great facilities including heated pools for kids and adults, boat rentals, basketball court, hiking and cottages with great amenities. You can enjoy barbeque lunch or dinner with friends rest in the cottages with nice and clean rooms. It has something for all age groups and not very far from the main towns where there are more entertainment, dining and other activities on offer. Highly recommended for a family or couple get away for a week or weekend.

When I set out to find a cottage for myself and my 5 yr old daughter, I was looking for a setting that was clean, family friendly and fun. Lantern Bay exceeded all of my expectations. Our cabin had everything at our finger tips. A great park, sports area, pavilion, pools and beach. All the staff and visitors were so friendly. Many of the people we met were repeat visitors. I brought way more than I need…the cabin was equipped with everything…even some toys and activities for kids. I was so impressed. I look forward to staying at your resort again.

We have only been at Bellmere a short time, but I have noticed quite a few changes this year. First and foremost, the kids programs this year; the magic show and the bingo, the fact that we are getting emails each week, so we can plan our days around activities. Well done all! The kids are meeting so many new friends and are free to have fun. They get to be kids! There is so much for the kids to do, and the girls that run them, are fabulous. They make each child feel special, they take the time to connect with each of them individually.

When we purchased at Bellmere, we never imagined how many people behind the scene’s work to make sure that everyone’s stay is pleasurable and I wanted to thank everyone for making it memorable for us! All the Staff need to be commended on a job well done!

We loved everything about this place. Our cottage was spacious and clean. It provided everything we needed. We travelled with our 10 month old so it was crucial it had the space. Everything was in perfect working condition. The staff were friendly and would ask if we needed anything anytime we walked by. The city is only a 9 minute drive. We had a fantastic time here.

We rented a very clean, modern and newly built cottage with 3 bedrooms by the water at a very reasonable rate. We had access to the recreation room, swimming pool, beach volleyball court, kayaks, canoes & paddle boats throughout our stay. It was a relaxing retreat for all of us.

We were very surprised at the quality and cleanliness of our cottage! We felt that we received good value for our money.  Our kids had a great time, and mentioned it was the best time of their lives! It was the first time they had slept in bunk beds. We intend to visit a different Great Blue Resort next year.

We visited here the past few summers, and have been very satisfied with our stay. Rice Lake is great for fishing and swimming or boating and jet-ski. Is a ton of fun and the resort is safe and kept clean and organized. The resort has been improving with a new gym and laundry room. Bring bug spray, and sunscreen, the Kawartha’s are beautiful but deadly with regards to insects.
